Former Vice-President of Sun Microsystems, who led development and licensing of Java, to help grow venture building new dimension of the Web
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Radar Networks (www.radarnetworks.com) announces the appointment of Mike Clary to its Board of Directors. Radar Networks is building technology for enriching content that will catalyze the evolution of a new dimension of the Web. This new dimension is the next frontier in search, advertising, content distribution and commerce.
The company is presently in stealth-mode and anticipates releasing its first commercial products in 2007.
Mr. Clary has worked closely with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, where he is presently an executive in residence working with Bill Joy. Prior to this, he was President & CEO of Nanostar, Inc. Mr. Clary worked for many years as a senior manager of Sun Microsystems where he helped to lead the development and adoption of Java. He was the director of Aspen Smallworks, a Sun Microsystem’s research lab, and later held other roles including Director, Sales, Business Development and Licensing for Javasoft, Vice-President General Manager Consumer Technologies, Vice-President Global Software Sales and Services, and Vice-President of Research, Sun Laboratories.
