Advantax Group Appoints Former Wal-Mart Tax Manager Sam Kinslow
ST. CHARLES, Ill. — Chicago-based property tax consulting firm Advantax(R) Group announced today the appointment of Sam Kinslow as National Director of Real Property Consulting Services. Mr. Kinslow has 13 years of experience in the fields of property valuation, consulting, and tax assessment.
Prior to joining Advantax, Mr. Kinslow was a Senior Operations Manager at Burr Wolff, LP. Mr. Kinslow spent the majority of his property tax career working for Wal-Mart stores as a Real Estate Tax Manager. He also led the Personal Property Compliance, Audits, and Accounts Payable teams. Prior to Wal-Mart, Mr. Kinslow spent time as an independent fee appraiser for lending institutions and private investors.
Mr. Kinslow began his career in property tax as a Deputy Assessor valuing commercial properties and conducting formal appeal hearings. He was recognized by his peers in the assessment community for valuation of corporate campuses and manufacturing facilities.
He is very active with the Institute for Professionals in Taxation as a class instructor and formerly served as a member of the Property Tax Symposium Executive Committee. Mr. Kinslow is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in Interpersonal and Corporate Communication. His college work focused on negotiation, persuasion, and effective presentation skills.
