MRC Medical Communications Wins Five National Telly Awards for its Interactive DVDs
ORADELL, N.J. — The winners in the 2007 Telly Awards competition have been announced and MRC Medical Communications has been honored with five awards. The annual competition, now in its 28th year, recognizes the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, and corporate video departments in the world. This year’s competition received more than 13,000 entries from all 50 states, 30 countries and 5 continents.
The Silver Telly, the competition’s highest honor, was awarded to MRC Medical Communications in the category of Scriptwriting for its interactive DVD, “TRUMPF iLED.” This program and MRC Medical’s DVD, “TRUMPF TITAN,” which focuses on the client’s universal surgical table, each won two Bronze Telly awards in the Multimedia and Training categories. Bronze is the competition’s second highest honor.
“We are always honored anytime our work is recognized, but when it comes from an organization as well respected as the Telly Awards it is especially gratifying,” said Dave Rector, MRC Medical Communications’ president. “When you look at the other winners each year it really validates the quality of the award competition and confirms the value of the honor,” Rector said, referring to past winners which include Disney, CNN, Microsoft and many of the world’s leading advertising agencies.
