FREMONT, Calif. — TeamF1, Inc. (www.TeamF1.com), the leader in embedded networking and security software solutions for wired and wireless applications, will present its latest innovation – advanced VPN/UTM capabilities integrated with a Draft 11n Wi-Fi(R) access-point – in a joint demonstration with partner Applied Micro Circuits Corp. The demonstrations are available at Booth #300 at the 2007 Power Architecture Developer Conference to be held on September 24th-25th in Austin, Texas (http://www.power.org/devcon/07), and at Booth #14 at the Global Wi-Fi Summit in China 2007 to be held on September 26th-27th in Beijing, China (http://www.conference.cn/wi-fi/2007/overview.asp).

TeamF1′s Secure Gateway Solution (SGS) combines the latest 802.11n wireless standards with field-proven networking and security components. Its support for AMCC’s latest embedded processors with hardware acceleration capabilities, and wireless chips based on the latest drafts of the IEEE 802.11n standard makes SGS ideally suited for high-performance networked applications demanding business-class management and security features.

“We are excited to enable advanced, high-performance integrated wired and wireless security devices on AMCC platforms for our mutual customers,” said TeamF1 President Mukesh Lulla. “Our solution offers a low risk, cost-effective and production-ready alternative to existing approaches. Further, with support for the advanced Power Architecture implementation in AMCC’s embedded processors, and add-on modules that can be customized, this product is a great fit for differentiated OEM applications with ever specific requirements.”

“The 440EPx Sequoia evaluation kit provides customers a highly integrated, low-cost, easy-to-use environment for evaluating software solutions and developing system software,” said Charlie Ashton, Director of Software at AMCC. “We are delighted to be able to demonstrate TeamF1′s Secure Gateway Solution’s advanced wired secure networking and Draft 802.11n WiFi features running on this platform. This makes it easy for OEM and ODM customers to evaluate the combined hardware/software solution for real-world wired and wireless applications. Our OEM and ODM customers are able to accelerate their time-to-market thanks to this highly-integrated software solution from TeamF1.”

Availability
The complete software solution in a production-ready form is available for immediate licensing by ODMs and OEMs on AMCC platforms. The demonstrations at the Power Architecture Developer Conference and Global Wi-Fi Summit in China are scheduled for the week of September 24th, 2007.
