BOSTON, Mass. — Arclinea Boston is the winner of two 2007 PRISM Gold Awards, for Best Remodeling of a Kitchen Over $100,000 and Best Remodeling of a Kitchen $50,000 – $100,000. Presented by the Builders Association of Greater Boston (BAGB) on Wednesday, October 24 at the Park Plaza Hotel, the PRISM Awards honor exceptional building, design, sales, and marketing. Arclinea, the contemporary Italian kitchen design firm located at 10 St. James Avenue in Boston, has now won three Gold PRISM awards in as many years.

Arclinea Boston received its 2007 awards for two distinct projects: an expansive kitchen/dining area in a single-family residence in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and for three unique kitchens designed for a multi-unit condominium development in Boston’s historic North End.

In selecting the North End kitchens, judges praised their “space defining, unique, and sleek design.”

The Chestnut Hill kitchen, featuring a meticulously designed, fully functional working kitchen and adjacent casual and formal dining areas, was called “a duplicity of excitement which displays controlled refinement and an exceptional use of light.”
