The Classic Group Hosts a Workshop at the 12th Annual Boston International Fine Art Show

LEXINGTON, Mass. — The Classic Group, Inc., architects and custom home builders located in Lexington, is pleased to announce company principal Phil Bates along with Jacqui Becker of Jacqueline Becker Fine Art Consulting Services and Doreen Le May Madden of Lux Lighting Design have been invited to present an educational seminar at the 12th Annual Boston International Fine Art Show on Friday, November 14th at 6:30 p.m. This is one of several seminars being presented at this annual show that runs November 13-16 at The Cyclorama at The Boston Center for The Arts (BCA), Boston.

The Classic Group’s presentation, “Art for Your Home and a Home for Your Art” will address the importance of putting the right “team” in place to properly display and protect your art. This information-packed seminar educates art enthusiasts on how to select the right art for their home based on lifestyle and personal taste. Proper placement, accent surroundings, and light complement art to transform a space. Whether placing art in an existing home, or building/renovating a home, it’s important to take your art collection into consideration.

Attendees will learn the role each of these professionals’ play, and what is important in making the relationships successful to produce the desired results. This seminar will be held on Friday, November 14th at 6:30 p.m. followed by a reception sponsored by The Classic Group, Design New England magazine and the Luxury Marketing Council.

The only fine art fair of its kind in New England, the Boston International Fine Arts Show features 40 galleries from the United States, Europe and Canada, with no restrictions on the type of work that may be shown. The show features more than 3,000 original works of art in all price ranges. The weekend show takes place Friday 1 p.m. – 9 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Classic Group designs, builds and renovates distinctive private residences, practicing a collaborative approach to architecture and building and a clear, deliberate communication approach on every project. Principals Kyle Barnard and Phillip Bates’ highly specialized team of design and construction professionals offer architectural design, new home and custom home construction, major and minor renovations, and historic restoration.
