Hilton Phoenix Chandler to Host Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Event for New Hotel
PHOENIX, Ariz. — The Hilton Phoenix Chandler is the first full service Hilton Hotel to open in the Phoenix area in 20 years; and it’s the first Hilton Hotel in Chandler. That’s why the staff at this upscale, suburban hotel has planned a grand opening event of extravagant proportions. The event will be held at Frye Road at the junctions of the Loop 202 (San Tan Freeway) and 101 Freeway on March 26, 2009; 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mayor Boyd W. Dunn and the Chandler Chamber of Commerce will be present for the ribbon cutting ceremony, to be followed by the grand opening party. The community is invited to attend as well.
The grand opening will showcase the culinary talents of Executive Chef, Robin Murphy. Chef Murphy has worked with some of the greatest chefs in the west and brings with her more than 23 years of experience and a passion for cooking cuisine with elegance and simplicity. There will be signature cocktails, butler-passed hors d’oeuvres and chef-attended action stations.
Guests will enjoy live entertainment at the outdoor Oasis Pool Bar, adjacent to the free-form pool and water feature, and take in a beautiful Arizona sunset amidst the rustle of swaying palm trees. Tours of the hotel will also be available.
Post-party, guests are invited to treat their friends, family and colleagues to a genuine steakhouse experience at “The Grill at the Chandler Hilton” featuring premium-aged sirloins, sustainable seafood and free-range poultry.
After dinner, guests can melt into a comfy lobby chair alongside the bar and enjoy an after-dinner drink and friendly game of chess or backgammon.
And, for guests who wish to return, amenities are numerous. The Hilton Phoenix Chandler has a Gift Cafe, complete with Starbucks(R) and Moonstruck(R) chocolates, truffles, and local-artisan collectibles.
