Computex 2009: TeamF1 Exhibits SMB and Residential CPE Routers and APs with Specialized Device Management

FREMONT, Calif. — TeamF1, Inc., the high-performance embedded networking and security software company, today announced that its latest advances in software for SMB router, residential gateway and WLAN access point turnkey solutions will be demonstrated during the Computex Taipei Exhibition and Trade-show from June 2 to June 5. In its 29th year, Computex is the second largest international computer and electronics trade show in the world.

teamf1 incTeamF1 will be featuring an array of customizable solutions based on its SMBware(TM) platform of innovative prepackaged solutions and add-ons for specialized markets such as the service provider and CPE markets. Demonstrated solutions will include the company’s flagship Secure Gateway Solution (SGS) and Managed Access Point Solution (MAPS) both of which offer options to provide OEMs/ODMs an unbeatable combination of cost-effectiveness, performance, flexibility and scalability.

SGS offers ironclad, advanced connectivity and security while allowing intuitive device management. It includes multiple WAN and LAN side options and a broad range of security functions from firewall to Unified Threat Management (UTM) functionality. SGS is ideally suited for high-performance wired and wireless router/gateway applications.

MAPS is an enterprise and industrial grade 11n AP with extensive support for IEEE 802.11 standards in the form of a complete customizable turnkey software package for advanced, secure wireless access points. New features include the use of the Rapid Spanning Tree protocol for wireless network resiliency, ability to form a secure network of fully wireless AP-to-AP trees, wireless client isolation and built-in wireless intrusion detection/prevention.

These include technologies such as the Network Attached Storage module, print server module, advanced authentication modules, TR-069 management and provisioning module, and others. TeamF1 will demonstrate these solutions on the latest processors from its technology partners including AppliedMicro, Cavium Networks, Marvell, Mindspeed, RMI and others.
