SUMTER, S.C. — Recipe-Robot.com, a newly-launched Web site, announces a service that not only saves people money, but also gives them easy access to copycat recipes so they can cook their favorite restaurant-quality meals at home. In today’s economy, people are looking to cut corners anywhere they can. Many people have stopped eating out. Others have cut back on driving to save money on gas. People are shopping smarter; they are buying less, but still wanting more.

Recipe-Robot“Given the current state of the economy, many people have cut back on eating out,” Tim Prescott, creator of Recipe-Robot says. “Recipe-Robot.com is perfect for people on a fixed income; people who have been forced to drastically cut their expenses; and basically anyone interested in saving money.”

Prescott adds that, “No matter how bad the economy is, we still have to eat. And, this Web site allows people to not only eat, but to still treat themselves and their families to their favorite restaurant meals with minimal cost involved.”

Prescott was first inspired by a simple hobby and his 80-year old grandmother. Recently widowed, she was living alone and on a fixed income. She had next to no computer knowledge and Prescott wanted to make it easier for her to find restaurant recipes online since she loved to cook.

It was clear to him that there was a need for something more user-friendly and budget-minded; “Recipe-Robot” was born.

The way this Web site works is different from other recipe Web sites. Prescott designed the site from start to finish and made sure that he omitted features that he found bothersome such as having to download or to pay extra for updates. It’s a simple, user-friendly interface.

“Many other recipe sites provide e-books, but often the recipes cannot be printed out and viruses are a concern when downloading,” Prescott explains. “And once people purchase a recipe cookbook or e-book, that’s all they get. Those recipes will never update. With this Web site, people simply press a button and get fresh, new recipes anytime they want.”

With Recipe-Robot.com, members pay $37 per year to access new recipes, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. There is also a member coupon program. When people sign up, they receive real, printable, brand-name coupons to use each month which can save $100 to $200 per month on grocery bills. These coupons quickly defer the modest cost of membership.

Members enjoy recipes in several categories that include: diabetic, game, copycat, healthy, restaurant, barbecue, crock pot and more. Want to know the secret recipes used at some of the most famous restaurants in America? “They’ll have to visit the Web site and join to find out,” Prescott grins.

Recipe-Robot scours the Web 24 hours per day to bring its members the most up-to-date recipes on the Internet in one easy-to-use location. Members can save any of the recipes to their computer or even print them out.

www.Recipe-Robot.com is fast growing in its popularity and currently has a varied membership base. In addition to recipes, the Web site also provides valuable kitchen and cooking tips that also update daily; there is even an area for special requests where members can ask for specific recipes or additional categories.
