OKEECHOBEE, Fla. — Kite Properties, LLC announces the opening of the new Hampton Inn by Hilton located in Okeechobee, Florida on Florida SR 70 one half mile east of US 441. Developed by Kite Properties, LLC, a hotel development and investment company, the property is the second completed hospitality project in Florida and marks the continuation of the company’s growth plan of developing more Hilton and Marriott Hotels. Kite Properties was the lead developer and investor in the project. The hotel was designed by LLW Architects of Memphis, TN and constructed by Pinkerton & Laws of Orlando, FL. The hotel’s managing partner is Hotel Equities of Atlanta, GA.
