nPulse TechnologiesCHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — nPulse Technologies, LLC, a leading developer of 10Gbps network sensors for monitoring, forensics and security applications, demonstrated the latest version of its HammerHead Capture and Replay appliance at FOSE last week. The Model 420 can capture traffic, record it to disk and replay it at up to 20Gbps, allowing for full duplex recording of a fully-loaded 10Gbps link.

Captured traffic is stored in standard PCAP file format for easy analysis by Wireshark or similar applications. Wireshark, the world’s most widely-used network protocol analyzer and a reference standard in companies and institutions worldwide, is pre-installed on the HammerHead 420.

“We have been shipping our HammerHead 320 for over a year now, and its industry-leading 10Gbps record and replay performance is well proven in a diverse customer base, including the Federal Government, major contractors, and leading telecom industry manufacturers,” said Peter Shaw, Vice-President at nPulse Technologies. “The Model 420 is a natural next step for us and our users, offering greater speed, deeper storage and more capture ports.”

nPulse’s HammerHead Model 420, which includes four 10Gbps capture ports and up to 64TBytes of storage capacity, is available for shipping now. For more about HammerHead and related nPulse products, visit www.npulsetech.com .
