eNewsChannels: Mortgage documents

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah /eNewsChannels/ — NEWS: Mortgage document preparation vendor International Document Services, Inc. (IDS), announces its flagship doc prep system idsDoc is now compatible with the three major Internet browsers — Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. According to research firm StatCounter Global Stats, these three browsers accounted for 78 percent of the market in the United States in 2013.

The changes were made as part of an overall system redesign to enhance the look and feel of idsDoc. Other enhancements include the discontinuation of pop-up windows and a more standardized design for navigation tools and menus. The redesign also makes idsDoc easier to view and use on a tablet.

“We want idsDoc to work how, when and where our clients need it to work,” said IDS Executive Vice President Mark Mackey. “In the past, computing in the mortgage industry was heavily Windows-based. Now, lenders are expanding outside the Microsoft environment, and it’s important that we’re able to accommodate the environments in which our clients choose to deploy idsDoc.”

“The goal of this redesign was to enable our clients to navigate through idsDoc more smoothly and intuitively,” Mackey added. “Our development team is constantly looking for ways to simplify the user experience and expand the devices on which idsDoc can operate effectively.”
