ROSEVILLE, Calif. /eNewsChannels/ — NEWS: The High Technology Crimes Investigation Association (HTCIA) will host its 2nd HTCIA CISO Summit on August 28, 2014 at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Austin, Texas directly following the organization’s 28th Annual HTCIA International Conference & Training Expo. The CISO Summit is exclusively for Information Technology and Security Officers and features a powerful lineup of speakers, including Brian Engle (CISO for the State of Texas) and Alan Daines (CISO, Dell Computers).

Peter Morin, CISO Conference Chair and HTCIA International 2nd Vice President, is proud to present the 2nd Annual HTCIA CISO Summit as a one-day event, catering specifically to the educational and networking needs of security officers, within the boundaries of their very busy schedules.

“Our attendees can expect to engage with industry leaders as they discuss the new security challenges facing us today, as well as learning about efficient ways to prevent attacks, and detect threats quickly,” says Morin.

HTCIA has prided itself for over 28 years in offering unique and effective training and collaborative opportunities to its global members, and non-members alike, and strives to make the CISO Summit a must-attend event for security executives, who have a more specialized need and expectation from such an event.

According to Morin, this Summit is not targeted or designed for Law Enforcement or Computer Forensics Analysts. The entire program and structure is very carefully designed for Chief Information Security Officers (CISO), Chief Information Officers (CIO), Chief Technology Officers (CTO), and Directors of Information Security, Information Security departmental senior management.
