Brown Jr. announced the following additional appointments: First, Vanessa Robledo, 36, of Napa, has been appointed to the 25th District Agricultural Association, Napa Town and Country Fair. Robledo has been the owner and chief executive officer at Black Coyote Wines since 2008. She was the president at Robledo Family Winery from 1997 to 2007. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Robledo is a Republican.
Thomas Trzesniewski, 63, of Napa, has been appointed to the 25th District Agricultural Association, Napa Town and Country Fair. Trzesniewski has been general manager at the Bremer Family Winery since 2011. He was retail manager at Chimney Rock Winery from 2006 to 2010 and worked in multiple positions at Silverado Vineyards from 2005 to 2006. He was an outside salesperson at Hartwell Estate Vineyards from 2004 to 2005, meat manager at American Stores Company LLC from 1996 to 2003 and owner of the Box Office and Ranch Video from 1985 to 1996. Trzesniewski is a member of Friends of the Napa River and the City of Napa Planning Commission. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Trzesniewski is registered decline-to-state.
Alan S. Wagner, 49, of Napa, has been appointed to the 25th District Agricultural Association, Napa Town and Country Fair, where he has served since 2010. Wagner has been a director of vineyard operations at Clos Du Val Vineyard Company since 2001. He was an assistant vineyard manager at Southcorp Wine Estates North America from 1997 to 2001 and coastal division manager at Daro Commodities from 1994 to 1997. Wagner was a western regional sales manager at Loomix and PM Ag Products Inc. from 1988 to 1994. He is a board member of the Napa County Farm Bureau. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Wagner is a Republican.
Christine Lally, 36, of Sacramento, has been appointed deputy director of board and bureau relations at the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Lally has been assistant secretary of communications and legislation at the California Technology Agency since 2011. She served as deputy secretary of legislative affairs at the California State and Consumer Services Agency in 2011, deputy director of development at the California Museum for History, Women and the Arts from 2010 to 2011 and director of government affairs and constituency outreach at the Office of Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi from 2007 to 2010. Lally was campaign manager for Garamendi for Lieutenant Governor from 2004 to 2007 and assistant to the appointments secretary in the Office of Governor Gray Davis from 1999 to 2003. This position does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $115,512. Lally is a Democrat.
Deborah Veale, 54, of Palos Verdes Estates, has been appointed to the California Board of Pharmacy, where she has served since 2010. Veale has been director of payer relations at CVS Pharmacy Inc. since 2006. She served in various positions for Albertsons/Save-On from 1981 to 2006, including regional manager for managed care, division pharmacy manager, regional pharmacy trainer, pharmacy manager and staff pharmacist. This position does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $100 per diem. Veale is a Republican.
Collin Wong, 54, of Orinda, has been appointed to the California Private Security Disciplinary Review Committee, North. Wong has been qualified manager at Star Protection Agency and owner of Collin W. Wong Investigations since 2009. He was a labor compliance investigator with the Northern California Carpenters Regional Council from 2008 to 2009 and a police officer at the Oakland Police Department from 1982 to 2008.
