BIRMINGHAM, Ala. /eNewsChannels/ — NEWS: EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants, a retail property, casualty and employee benefits insurance brokerage and consultant, announced this week their move into new offices in Birmingham, Alabama; the base of operations for EPIC’s National Energy Construction Practice – a specialty risk management team serving large, complex construction, energy and distribution companies across the country.
Since the practice was started with the additions of Crawford McInnis, Brian Tanner, Wilson Long and Andy D’Entremont in November 2014, the National Energy Construction Team has grown quickly, adding six more top professionals in production, account management, claims advocacy and risk control consulting positions.
These additions and plans for further expansion and growth have necessitated a move into larger offices located at 2901 2nd Avenue South, Suite 200, Birmingham, AL 35233, as of Friday, June 26, 2015.
“Our EPIC journey has been a very exciting and gratifying ride so far,” said Birmingham managing principal Crawford McInnis. “We are part of a highly regarded national broker, with experienced, successful leadership; top professionals in multiple disciplines; a strong capital position; and extensive insurance company relationships – all of which means delivering even greater value to our clients. We couldn’t be more excited about what our team and the rest of EPIC are building in Birmingham and across the country.”
Since The Carlyle Group became the EPIC’s major investment partner in December 2013, the firm has completed ten strategic acquisitions/purchases, adding nearly 400 employees in 14 new locations across the United States.
