Second Annual Walk for Excellence Fundraiser in Georgia May 12

2012 Neotrope NonProfit PR Grant Recipients Announced

Pew Center on the States quotes Florida data from the Florida Public Health Institute
LAKE WORTH, Fla. /eNewsChannels/ -- The Pew Center on the States on Monday reported tremendous nationwide growth in emergency room visits for many easily prevented dental problems. In Florida, emergency room visits doubled between 2008 and 2010, totaling more than 115,000 visits and generating more than $88 million in medical charges. Pew obtained its Florida information from a Florida Public Health Institute (FPHI) study released in December 2011.
