Carden Academy of Mission Viejo Event Raises $40K to Support Calif. School Programs
MISSION VIEJO, Calif. -- Carden Academy of Mission Viejo announced today that more than $40,000 was raised at its Third Annual Dinner Dance, 'A Night of Chance,' held at the Coto de Caza Country Club on Saturday, April 17, 2010. The event was organized by the academy's Parents Association to raise funds that will enhance the school programs at Carden Academy.

Students at the Alameda Community Learning Center Get Top Honors at Chevron Science Fair
ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Students at the Alameda Community Learning Center (ACLC) took home top prizes in several categories at the Chevron 57th Annual San Francisco Bay Area Science Fair this past week. Among the 13 ACLC students to bring home awards were sophomore Dylan Moore, who placed fist in the Engineering and Computer Applications category with his project Creating and Modifying a Fuel Cell System for Clean Energy.

Pathbuilders Percepta Program has largest graduation class
ATLANTA, Ga. -- Seventy-two women graduated on March 2 from Pathbuilders' 2009-10 Percepta class. Percepta is a six-month program that prepares women for leadership positions in their companies by providing group mentoring and educational seminars combined with program-wide network building. Junior-executive high-potential women were paired with executive-level mentors who helped guide their development and position them to have greater impact on their companies. The graduation took place Atlanta.
