Jimmy Jazz Announces 3 New Store Locations in North Carolina

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Jimmy Jazz, a leading urban fashion and footwear retailer, will be opening three new locations in the state of North Carolina. This is the specialty apparel retailer’s first entrance into the state. With the additional openings, Jimmy Jazz will now have over 60 stores in the eastern United States. “We are very excited to extend our Jimmy Jazz family of stores into North Carolina,” stated Martin Badour, VP of Stores for the chain. “We look forward to bringing our Urban Lifestyle brand to multiple locations throughout the state.”

In addition to the North Carolina openings, Jimmy Jazz unveiled several new stores in 2008. The company opened new locations in Michigan, Georgia, Illinois, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. Jimmy Jazz had previously announced a growth strategy well into 2009 and is on target to meet those store opening goals.

“The company is also building its first e-commerce site for online shopping, with an anticipated launch date in spring 2009,” commented David Wachter, VP of eCommerce for the company. “Customers have been asking to shop online for quit some time, and we are excited to offer premier lifestyle brands to the entire country.”

The new locations, grand opening dates, and store hours for North Carolina are as follows:

- Four Seasons, Greensboro, NC – November 14th,
Store Hours: Sun 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.; Mon – Sat 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

- Cary Town Center, Cary, NC – November 14th,
Store Hours: Sun 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Mon – Sat 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

- Cross Creek Mall, Fayetteville, NC – Nov. 21th,
Store Hours: Sun 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.; Mon – Sat 10 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
