“With 5.4 million square feet, FCA’s headquarters is the second-largest building in the U.S. in floor space (all under one roof),” Eduardo Conte, senior vice president, North America, says. “The Pentagon is the first.”
There are more than 15,000 parking spaces to serve its 15,000+ employees and visitors. That’s an impressive property.
Conte says that they had a snow removal exercise at the end of October that was a huge success. The site was divided into multiple zones and maps were created for the staff so that when the snow starts to fly, there will be no surprises.
Conte says that removing snow at FCA’s headquarters is kind of like “the ‘Super Bowl’ of snow removal.”
“We prepare for this all season and are ready to go when the first flake hits the ground,” he says.
