RALEIGH, N.C. /eNewsChannels/ -- NEWS: Mayor Nancy McFarlane has officially proclaimed December 2, 2014 #GivingTuesday in the city of Raleigh, N.C., the North Raleigh Ministries announced today. #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving first announced in 2012 by the 92nd St. Y and the UN Foundation to encourage Conspicuous Compassion instead of Conspicuous Consumption during the holidays.
