COVINGTON, Ga. — Robert W. (“Bill”) Donohue, retired Senior Vice President – Electric Operations of Consolidated Edison, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Utility Associates, Inc. (www.utility.com). Utility Associates is a venture-funded mobile asset management hardware and software company serving the electric and gas utility, telecom, distribution, and government market segments.

“Bill Donohue’s 43 years of electric utility experience is a very valuable addition to our board,” said Board Chairman Robert McKeeman. “His guidance will help make sure our mobile asset management products and services continue to deliver compelling benefits and ROI to all our customers.”

Mr. Donohue has held management and senior executive positions for Consolidated Edison of New York. Prior to his retirement in early 2003, as Senior Vice President of Electric Operations, Mr. Donohue was responsible for all electric distribution operations, maintenance, engineering, construction, planning, and customer services for Con Edison’s territory. As Senior Vice President for Con Edison, he was responsible for an annual capital budget of $455 million and an operations and maintenance budget of $165 Million. Con Edison serves a population of over 9 million people through nearly 120 thousand miles of underground and overhead line.

Mr. Donohue has served the electric power industry on the Research Advisory Council for the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). He was the Chairman of EPRI’s Power Delivery Council, its Distribution Business Council, and is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He served as Chairman of EPRI’s Power Delivery Reliability Initiative and Vice Chairman of Edison Electric Institute’s (EEI) Transmission and Distribution Committee. Mr. Donohue has a BEE from City College of New York and attended the Penn State University Executive Program.
