NEW YORK, N.Y. — CheapoAir.com Cheap Airfare and Budget Travel Web Site announced today that it has signed a distribution agreement with TouricoHolidays.com, one of the largest hotel portals in the world. CheapoAir.com.com will utilize Tourico’s hotel properties to create hotel and air dynamic packages to sell to its more than 1 million online customer base. TouricoHolidays.com has one of the most diverse hotel-negotiated rate portfolios in the world.
CheapoAir.com and its technology partner, Fareportal, will integrate Tourico’s XML feed of hotel properties database into Fareportal’s proprietary booking engine. This XML feed will allow real time data and 2-step booking capability. Fareportal has access to more than 80,000 hotels through Sabre Travel Network and Amadeus Global Distribution System. Tourico’s hotel inventory will be additional content on CheapoAir.com’s web site.
Katie Schwartz, Vice President of Marketing at CheapoAir.com had this to say – “By adding Tourico’s hotel inventory, CheapoAir will have one of the most competitive hotel pricing options available to its more than 1 million client base of online travel buyers. CheapoAir.com will be able to leverage these specially negotiated rates and combine them with its own exclusive airfares to offer discounted travel packages.”
“CheapoAir brings an excellent distribution channel for the more than 11,000 hotel properties in Tourico’s network,” said Jason Soss, Senior Vice President, Consumer and Affiliates. “With the integration of Travel Holdings hotel inventory for distribution of dynamic packages on its web site, it’s confirmation of the quality and value of CheapoAir.com and our partnership.”
