SUNRISE, Fla. — Interim HealthCare, the nation’s largest provider of home care and health care staffing services, announced the recipients of the “National Quality Awards” for 2008 at their annual National Clinical Symposium meeting in Savannah, Georgia. The awards recognize Interim home care offices for patient satisfaction, and Medicare-certified offices for performance on CMS public measures of quality. The awards were developed after the introduction of the CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) public measures in October 2003, a national government program that publishes the quality ratings of all Medicare-certified home health care agencies in the United States and to recognize the value of Interim’s standardized monitoring of home care patient’s satisfaction, in place for over a decade.
