LOS ANGELES, Calif. /eNewsChannels/ — Kids Artistic Revue – KAR, America’s Favorite National Dance Competition, wraps up the 30th Anniversary 2012 season with a benefit awards show to give back to the community. Music Saves Lives and Keep A Breast Foundation join KARtv on July 6 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas to be part of the first annual Awards Show Benefit. KARtv will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from this event to these organizations.
Through this event, KARtv Dance Awards is aiming to raise $30,000 to help the fight against cancer.
“KAR lost a great friend and employee, Marissa Parks, this past year to cancer. We want to do our part to help raise awareness for this cause,” says Noah Lands, Owner of Kids Artistic Revue, Inc. “What better way than through dance, music and celebrating dance educators across the nation.”
More than 26,000 group routines graced the stages of Kids Artistic Revue and Rainbow Dance Competition in 2012. The top 7 in each category for the Elite Level were selected as finalists for this awards benefit. “Every studio nominated are all winners,” says Noah Lands

The 2012 Dance Awards will be hosted by Joslyn Davis and Madison Curtis and will feature appearances by performers, judges, dancers and stars from Nickelodeon, “America’s Got Talent,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “MTV America’s Best Dance Crew,” Disney, Hollywood Records, among many others.
“This is an incredible lineup of performers and presenters coming together to raise money for these charities,” says Joe M Loera, Producer of KARtv.
