HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. — Multi-Flow Industries, a manufacturer of fountain-dispensed beverages, announced that it has recently received the Gold Certificate of Recognition for passing its 2008 Silliker Audit with a score of 97.7%. The audit covered food safety as well as GMP requirements. Silliker is recognized as one of the world’s leading food safety auditing firms, and has been accredited as a certification body for the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program of the Food Marketing Institute (FMI). Their GMP and FSS audits combine a host of recognized industry practices and principles, as well as recommendations from the National Advisory Committee for Microbiological Criteria in Foods, Food and Drug Administration, and United States Department of Agriculture. These comprehensive audit evaluations involve a systems review as well as a physical assessment of the facility in the implementation of food safety and quality systems procedures.
