It not only monitors if the person is out of bed, but also if an exterior door opens and no motion has been detected in the house. While being up at 1:00 a.m. may not be unusual for this person, the opening of an exterior door is the unexpected event that would trigger notification to the designated caregiver.
These custom-tailored monitoring systems will be available for lease and range in price from $100 to $150 per month. This includes the equipment and service. SimplyHome is the first to offer such an affordable and flexible option.
