SYRACUSE, N.Y. — CheapBooks.com(TM) is hosting an event at Aladdin’s Natural Eatery at 163 Marshall Street, November 15 at 10:30 a.m., near Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y.; the event will provide students, teachers and other interested people with the opportunity to mingle in an open forum with the popular reality TV castmate, Syrus Yarbrough, of MTV’s “Real World Boston.”

“The event is designed to be informal,” David Tiberio, owner and founder of CheapBooks, said. “Attendees will have the opportunity for autographs and open discussion with Yarbrough in a setting that is casual and fun. We will also be handing out hundreds of free T-shirts.”

Yarbrough is a highly-recognizable entertainment and media personality with extensive television, music video, radio, on-stage lecturing, video game production, and behind-the scenes casting experience. He has developed a fan base that appreciates him for his personal views, real-life experiences, fashion style and cultural preferences.

Having spoken at more than 100 colleges and universities throughout the United States, either independently, or with other talents, Yarbrough shares his experiences with his audience and focuses primarily on diversity, relationships and conflict resolution.

Tiberio, who was recently invited to be interviewed for a show focusing on the world’s greatest businesses, decided to host this event to demonstrate his business savvy; the interview is scheduled to be aired on December 10th, nationwide, on the ION Media Network, formerly Paxson Communications.

Tiberio’s company, CheapBooks.com, is popular among college students because it offers the most competitive prices at-a-glance. College students also like Yarbrough and reality TV and Tiberio wanted to provide the chance for them, and others, to meet him.

CheapBooks, based in Syracuse, provides consumers access to low-cost books over the Internet. It compares the prices of many major online bookstores such as Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, and Half.com.

In addition, at www.CheapBooks.com, students can enter to win a $5,000 scholarship, search online for degree programs and apply for financial aid.

The event will be covered via live remote by the university’s radio station, WJPZ Z89. For more information, visit: http://www.CheapBooks.com .
