OVERLAND PARK, Kan. /eNewsChannels/ — NEWS: Arlene Mathews, registered nurse and owner of Care Dynamics, Inc., not only learned from a near car accident, but took it to the next level and launched a new product – the “Automotive Tissue Valet.” Mathews hopes that this new product will solve an age-old problem and reduce the number of distracted drivers on the road.
The Automotive Tissue Valet holds a standard-to-large sized box of tissues and can be placed within easy reach of the driver or passengers, so that no one should ever have to take their eyes off the road to wipe a runny nose or clean up a spill again.
“After my too-close-for-comfort car accident, I contacted a designer to lay out the specifics of my idea,” Mathews says. “Things are moving along. I applied for a patent and trademark, secured a manufacturer, and the Automotive Tissue Valet is now available for purchase from amazon.com or amjico.com.”
The Automotive Tissue Valet surrounds the tissue box in a nylon fabric case with an adjustable strap. This strap attaches around the headrest post of the passenger seat for easy reach.
So far, Mathews reports that user feedback is positive.
“After all, who hasn’t tried to drive with one hand while reaching to the floor of the passenger seat or into the back seat to find a tissue for that all important nose wipe? Once people realize the problem this simple idea solves, anyone with a nose, a motor vehicle and unreachable tissue box will appreciate its convenience,” she says.
